We recently noticed the serial number had been scratched out and we don't know why. I changed the silverface faceplate to a re- issue blackface faceplate.

I also changed the knobs to cleaner examples of 1968 knob's that I had so the amp looks a lot more fresh and clean. I took this to an amp tech many years ago who tightened the tube sockets, found a short and repaired it, installed a new 3-prong power cord, checked the operation and it worked perfectly. Over this last week Feb. I took the amp to my current amp tech and he replaced some filter caps as needed and checked operation again so this should be in excellent working condition. 8316802 (2nd week of 1968).
